Haven't played this in ages, the 1969 last album by The McCoys. Yes, this is the same group that hit big with "Hang On Sloopy" and which gave us guitar legend Rick Derringer. While this is interesting if imperfect psychedelic leaning rock, the real star here is the final track, a scorching live cover of T Bone Walker's "Stormy Monday Blues." This really makes the connection for me as to why Johnny Winter picked them for his backing band (they were the "And..." in 1970's Johnny Winter And...
