Made Japanese curry for dinner, a plate of boiled sweet potatoes coved in curry sauce and a plate with rice, square hamburger cover in curry sauce. The hamburger is like salisbury steak. I’m a happy stuffed kitty >^.^<

Last one. The lights say goodbye, hanging over Salisbury Crags, the rocks which inspired Hutton to look into deep time and change our theories of geology.

The sky still pale green into black, with a faint oval of red hanging over the distinctive squat triangular shape of Salisbury Crags. The crags are speckled with the headlamps of walkers. To the left in the distance, the city of Edinburgh is a strip of illumination with the castle at its centre.

Ausgeschlafen. Leckeres Egg Royal z Frühstück. Z Bhf gegangen. N Salisbury mit Zug u weiter mit Bus. Stonehenge bewundert. Rückbus. Durch Salisbury gewandert (Rosinenschnecke). Zug n Bath. Essen: Vegane Pizza. Z Hotel zurück. Kuchen gegessen. Koffer umgepackt u Rucksack vorbereitet. Beine hoch.

Auf einem weißen Teller liegt ein Stück geröstetes Brot, darauf Räucherlachs und ein pochiertes Ei. Das ganze mit Sauce Hollandaise übergossen.
Von weit oben ein Blick runter auf eine enge Straße, die wir entlang gehen. Bäume links und rechts, die weit über die Straße ragen. Blauer Himmel.
Ein kupferner Pfeil auf dem Boden weißt geradeaus ab einem großen Findling rechts vorbei auf dahinter liegende und stehende hohe große Steine. Alle Steine auf tief genähtem Rasen. Der Pfeil auf einem dunklen Untergrund. Der Himmel ist blau.

A very large field with a very big view. Rands View on the slopes of Prospect Mountain along the Appalachian Trail in Salisbury, Connecticut. April 8, 2024, 2:36 PM. #hiking#mountains

A soft blue sky with streaky white clouds. Looking down from a spot at the top of a sloping field high on a mountainside across wooded foothills to a long narrow valley below. It is early spring and the field has been mowed at the end of the most recent growing season. Small clumps of straw are strewn throughout the short golden brown grass. A grassy track winds gracefully along the bottom edge of this field and then descends to our right and left through three lower fields that appear to be pastures. The two on the left are divided by a fence line and a parallel line of trees a few feet away. The one to our right is separated from the big meadow by a line of leafless hardwoods. Behind them i sweeps uphill past the edge of our frame. The short grass in these fields is beginning to turn green. There are glimpses of a few more distant fields, but most of the scene is covered with a forest split almost equally between evergreens and leafless hardwoods. The long valley is mostly wooded wit
