In Austin, catching up on BBQ. Here’s a selection of meats and sides at LeRoy & Lewis, which opened its brick-and-mortar location not far from my folks’ place earlier this year: brisket, pork-and-hop sausage and outrageously tender beef cheeks (OMG that bark), with kale caesar slaw & chori-papas.

Burritos have been a go-to dinner for a while but a couple days ago i thought about how i make them. Just been loading a tortilla with beans, salsa, corn, onion, chicken, and cheese and then microwaving it and then adding lettuce. Didnt consider having any of the other ingredients go on cold.
