This book genuinely took her so long, in the span of time it took her to do it, I bothered her twice for cicada-related projects. Her cicada knowledge enabled these 2 images. I could've never figured out the details myself.

a waterside environment surrounded by lush vegetation, peeking into a distant basalt hill. scattered across the image are various critters including a giant cicada, a longhorn beetle, a sawfly, a trapdoor spider, termites, a black feather belonging to unknown birds, and some fish swimming in the water.

Psyched with this Ultra-thin SanMai Gyuto featuring Vintage wrought iron cladding & a 26c3 carbon steel core. A gentle etch and stone polished bevels exposed the beauty of the iron. The wa-handle is Cherry harvested from a local California orchard & an Ebony ferrule and Tiffany Blue divider 🧶

Just saying, if the guys on Forged in Fire can say "ka-TAH-na" and "ta-TAH-mi", they should be able to make "sanmai" sound like "Sondheim" instead of like "sand mine". You don't have to have authentic Japanese pronunciation but you should be internally consistent.
