Empowering governments to regulate the internet may seem like a solution to corporate overreach, but it risks censorship and surveillance. Both serve control, feeding off today's hollow democracy. Our digital freedoms are caught in the crossfire of their appetite for data and dominance.

This seem fun, I haven’t drawn her much but her name is Zellria. She is a bard but more as a dancer, practicing her craft so she can perform to the world. #dnd#art#oc

Zellria is a tifling, she spent most of her years at the inn, helping to serve and making sure to give people a good smile.

One day, a wanderer arrives at the inn, a stranger to all, but once she performs on the stage, the audience see her as an old friend. Zellria was shocked to see her performance, as she watch the dancer, her heart felt excitement and wonder of her moves.

She took the opportunity to talk to her, learn what style of dancing it is and how to do it. The wanderer didn’t want to tutor anyone but seeing the tifling eyes light up, she needed to help guide the woman of how to be one.

Weeks pass by as Zellria practice the move set and how is done, but the wanderer has to move once more and hope Zellria figures out what she wants to do with her life. Zellria continues her practice as she learns more advance techniques and becoming agile.

Months has passed since her passion was found, the town knows her well and the performances that she gives with love, but the tifling couldn’t stay here forever. Zellria grab her bag and ready to leave before saying goodbye to her friends and co workers, she knows one day she return to her home, ready to give them her masterpiece that she will give to the world.

My fiancée cobbled the recipe together. It's SO good & so easy. She literally directed me how to make it over a video call, but she just typed it out for us both here:

- Get a pork loin or pork tenderloin. idfk what that is in oz or kg, but they're usually around the same size.
- Marinade: eyeball it, but you're going to whisk 1-3 (1 big, or 3 small) cloves of smashed or minced garlic with about 2 Tablespoons miso paste, good olive oil, apple cider vinegar (more oil than vinegar, but not by a lot), salt, pepper, fresh or dried thyme. Maybe some chili flakes if you're feelin spicy. You want a texture of a thick salad dressing - coats the back of a spoon, is slowly...drippy? but not runny.
- Dump this and the pork loin in a Ziploc bag or in a bowl. Rub that bad boy down and let it sit up to 8 hrs, or just 15 min while you prepare the rest. Preheat oven to 375F (~190C). Doesn't super matter if you're a lil over or under with the heat.
- Slice 1 onion or 2 leeks and 1 bulb of fennel into thin half-moons. Throw this in an oven-safe skillet (preferably castiron or enamel) with a knob of butter, salt, pepper and thyme over medium heat. Stir periodically until softened, while you slice 3-4 apples (go for firm, sour ones -- Granny Smith, etc) into slices as the same width as the onions and fennel. Stir the apples in and cook until they just start to soften or brown. You want them still a bit crispy at this stage, but starting to soften.
- Nestle the pork atop the veggie fruit mix. Pour any remaining marinade over it. Put the whole thing in the oven and check occasionally, stirring the veg or rotating the pork, adding a splash of water (or apple juice or broth or white wine) if things are looking dry, until the pork reaches 145F/63C. Prob about 30 min depending on yr oven and how thicc the meat is.
- Take out of the oven and let rest for 5-7 minutes. Make a little salad, or microwave some rice, or something.
- Slice the pork, and serve it topped with the fennel and apple goop. Nice sides here include: polenta, rice, mashed potatoes. Horseradish sour cream. A hearty little salad (kale or spinach with mustard dressing, maybe.) Roasted broccoli. whatever!
