I'd have to be an eccentric trillionaire, but a proper high-speed rail network for both Europe and North America. With "merely" billions? Far more night trains for Europe, centred on Lille with a shuttle from Lille to London.
Whereas I still remember the shuttle bus arrangement - that worked decently well - to access the world cup when I attended the USA-SUI game at the Pontiac Silverdome in 1994.
Pretty soon, it'll be time to catch a shuttle to the parking lot and drive home. And, if we get peckish, a stop for dinner. Not bad for an 18th anniversary jaunt. On Monday (the day of) we're going to cook for a friend and maybe crack open some of this lovely cheese to chare.

We didn't realize the trail wasn't a loop, so my decided it would be faster to leave me at the end and they could hike back without me to grab the car. Jokes on them, I hopped on a shuttle after they left, so now I'm waiting in the AC for them to get off the trail.
