The thing about using anti-meta teams is that you have to snowball hard and early in order to dodge as many off-meta teams as possible, or you reverse snowball. My loss 2 Dylan immediately placed me against Psyspam, which my team is bad against, and then the Mouse Ape mirror which is just dreadful.

I did some deep thinking today and I 100% suffered from lost momentum due to anxiety… My team was built to snowball the meta and dodge bad matchups, and we nearly did exactly that. 4-0, I got that email, faced Dylan Salvanera who made Day 2 and reverse snowballed. I’ll explain the matchup 🧵

You definitely get very powerful with the chip upgrades and since there is no limit to how many you have equipped it is a snowball effect. I still like that every weapon is usable without having to bend over backwards to make them work. I also like when they affect the stage they are meant for.

ginning up racism is like making a huge snowball on the edge of a cliff over a village way below. You push it over assuming it will hit a building you want destroyed, but once pushed, you have no control & it will probably destroy buildings you never thought it would hit as it grows on its way down

What is one positive change you could make that would snowball into many positive changes?

I don’t respond to everyone but I engage some of them because I think there’s value in owning the message. Leaving them be doesn’t make them disappear like many think; often it makes them snowball if anything, so spot-picking is useful

Realizing I booked the wrong flight home just tanked my mood supremely. I’m going to do my best to stop the negative snowball and try to set things right while staying on my game.
