I’ve certainly walked downhill from Snowdon in fog and waymarker cairns were invaluable for finding the path. I wonder whether for some visitors that purpose is forgotten and it is all seen as ‘decorative’? I’d love to know whether people’s habits in this area have changed.
I got so mad when that Snowdon-type guy was going to get away to Venezuela... guess I've forgotten that I've seen this ep before. The real suspense comes when I discover where in the rewatch it all becomes new to me, because I know I didn't finish every season when they were broadcast.
