all ive done since moving to chicago is sit in my office and softmod/clean all my nintendo consoles

It feels nice to hold but the screen and controls feel cramped now that I'm used to my Steam Deck. Could just be that I haven't slept after work/for tomorrow's shift so my eyes are still strained from 8 hours of that. Not sure what I'mma do with it, probably leave it alone until a softmod is found.

ahhh shit there's a new way to softmod the x360.... i've an original design one (later revision-has hdmi) with a dying optical drive tho so i'm not sure if i should just JTAG that mf and throw an ssd in there or track down the needed software for it.

and the optical drives are getting rarer as they had longevity issues even a decade ago. I've had two of them and what I ended up doing was soft modding them, soldering a jumper on the board to make the bios flash writeable, and then flash a mod bios to turn the softmod into a hard mod.
