I would argue most companies treat their workers like shit, have questionable ethics, and couldn't care less about the environment. All they really care about is profit and shareholders. I think SpaceX is a better company than the press makes it out to be. Most neutrals would agree with me.
This is all the water surrounding the west coast SpaceX launch site at Vandenberg. Break out the lawn chairs and popcorn
the stupefying waste of resources is hard to get over. Musk is making me hate the idea of human spaceflight
Striking juxtaposition: NASA is ever more entangled with SpaceX, whom they entrust to self-monitor the damage they cause to local communities + wildlife; while the UK has observed the grave dangers — to entire ecosystems, to public health — of privatizing wastewater treatment
SpaceX doing amazing things in spite of Elmo, not because of him....

I've talked to quite a few former spacex people and they all say the same thing, upper management's entire job is keeping Elon away from the workforce and ensuring he is effectively managed so he does...
I have concerns about the level of power Elon Musk has, but I think what SpaceX has achieved over the last few years is really fucking cool and should be celebrated.
