fwiw these take the same multibay drives as the later armada and evo laptops did, just the drive height on these is different, but in a pinch a later evo floppy or cd drive works fine with a spacer to hold it in place

You remove the diffuser to take out this little pin and spacer, and that opens up this path to the dif. I find me another beige gear and pin to seat on the other side of the diff.

The 9X8 has a lot of cool features, but its not too easy to demonstrate them. So the plan is to add a crank! To do that you have to remove some parts meant to support the aesthetic pieces

Close up on the rear differential. My sutures are pointed at a lego spacer connected to the diffuser

I didn't expect my @peculiarityshop.bsky.social mystery box to come so quickly, but it's here (and I happened to be wearing green, so it was a perfect time for pictures)!!

A fat Arab-American brunette in a dark green dress and matching glasses, looking super-stoked to be wearing a matched green-and-silver earring-and-necklace set. The necklace is a bit longer than a choker, made of big jagged chunks of green-dyed quartz alternating with silver skull spacer beads and culminating in a raven skull pendant. The large, dangly earrings aren't super visible in this spot, but it's clear they're made of the same green quartz chunks and silver beads and findings.
A close-up of the big green quartz earrings. The stone chunk is wrapped with silver wire around the top and features a silver rose charm dangling in front. The assembly is suspended from a big silver skull charm.
A pair of dangly green and silver earrings in a plastic envelope. The main body of the earring design is made of muted metallic green beads shaped like flat drops; they're sewn together in a tessellated pattern that looks like fish or dragon scales, and finished at the bottom with a different type of pearlescent green bead that looks like claws coming out of the bottom corners. The beadwork part is suspended from an arched silver frame with what looks a bit like a stylized compass rose in the center of the arch, and the whole thing hangs from silver fish-hook wires with little green accent beads.
A pair of black wooden hair sticks topped with smoky grey faceted glass beads, deep purple-dyed jade spheres, and deliciously dangly skull charms made of ivory-colored howlite.
