About nine years ago, I had the opportunity to teach both to primarily 18-year-olds. They liked The Searchers more than Stagecoach, but the biggest hit for the Western chapter was when we watched Shane. They liked that one a lot!🐴🤠🌵
teaching a course on the history of us popular culture this year, I have time to show ONE western (these are 16-19 year olds many of whom have never seen a western at all) and I keep oscillating back and forth between The Searchers and Stagecoach
