The Stokers get confusing because they use a partial jury system, so there are two tracks. You can't recommend anything you worked on to the Recommended Reading list, but you can submit to the jury. And only creators and publishers can submit to juries. And should! Get your work some attention!
26. Bram Stokers Dracula. Hell yeah. The beginning of this movie is PERFECT, with Gary Oldman blending perfectly with the eerie effects. Maniacal performances abound, dread and terror feel real, oh god I loved it

I want to say that there’s a lot about it that reminds me of Bram Stokers Dracula but that might come across as a bit too much of a recommendation. It is a deeply bizarre movie, though.
Fast hätte ich die Neuübersetzung von Bram Stokers "Das Geheimnis der See" aus dem Mare Verlag gekauft. Was eine schöne Ausgabe. Aber ich blieb standhaft. 💪 Ich nahm stattdessen Mircea Cărtărescus "Theodorus" mit. 🙈
