it's also a bit of a relic of an earlier version of the story, from what utsumi's said (that he was originally going to be stranded in japan alone and trying to earn money to move back to canada), but it's interesting that part of what drives langa into the S community is being Othered in this way
Fun Fact: I was creating the concept of Rika sometime after I finished watching S1 of Invincible So yeah, the "galactic empire" and her being a spy is actually inspired by the Viltrum Empire because I wanted to give her a reason to be on Earth and not in the "she crashed and is now stranded" 1/2?
Here's a quick, simple example of what it does. It automagically moves that stranded first line and moves it to the top of the column on the next page. I've found this method isn't perfect, but it's gets me a lot closer to the final goal faster than without it.
