Good Times was (one of?) the only show from my childhood w characters seemed *real*, like they cld live in the world I knew. Florida & James showed me what good mom/dad/partners cld be, living w real world stressors but still being grownups kids could count on. Grateful for that show & their work.

These are small problems in the midst of the stressors in the region. I'm not claiming to be tortured or oppressed. But I still hate maintaining this posture.

It's definitely outside stressors triggering this. Thank you so much for the words of support. 💝

I'm experiencing a variety of outside stressors so no, I'm not okay.

Bluesky: The satisfaction of speaking your inner stressors aloud and the comfort of knowing no one's hearing them.

My hair is currently half orange 🍊 also happy early welcome to working in education!! It’s genuinely my favorite job and while it has its stressors it’s very rewarding

It's normal and ok to be frustrated with or experience stress with your host culture. What's not ok is to let that fester into resentment or "Raging Expat Syndrome." You need a strategy to deal with and understand stressors! Tomorrow's ICYMI will help you with this. #expatlife
