Just different audiences I think. Our clubs two most popular games are 30k (huge armies) and titanicus (relatively small) There are clearly more economical games to get into with the starter set than others and have less "need" for lots of expansion to get a good game in
1) Great cover. 2) I had no idea Adeptus Titanicus came out so soon after Rogue Trader. 3) God, sterling was strong in 1988 compared to today...
Looking through an old White Dwarf (1990!) and found these lovely classic diorama and 'Eavy Metal original Titans. As much as things change (yellow & black camo Salamanders!) they stay the same, with Heresy-era battles taking place on Tallarn, the subject of the latest Epic/Legions Imperialis book.
Adeptus Titanicus, properly because it was the first games workshop game I played (if you don’t count hero quest).
Hey war gamers who play Legions Imperialis or Adeptus Titanicus: where are tutorials on making non-urban 8mm scenery? Are all battles in the Horus Heresy in cities?!?
the Legio Audax Warhound Titan "Narabhak", assualting a trench line with World Eater support. Narabhak's maniple excelled in close-support, utilising their Ursus Claws to tear down fortifications, & allowing World Eater units to surge into the breach. #Warhammer#HorusHeresy#Titanicus#Nerdlings
Just one. Do you think Legions Imperialis will keep going? The same for Titanicus! (I really hope so myself).
Any #HorusHeresy (or Legions Imperialis/Titanicus/other 30k) questions for Steve and I? We're about to record our September episode of Galaxy in Flames and want to hear from you!
