A close-up macro shot of what I'm pretty sure is Purple Toadflax, a garden escape that's fairly common in the UK. This one was in the hedge behind one of the goals at St Ives Town FC last weekend. #WildflowerHour (that's St Ives in Cambridgeshire, not the famous place in Cornwall!)

Terrible photo for #wildflowerhour #favouritefind sorry but been driving past on the roadside, no idea what they were. Pulled over just now to grab a poor flash photo of what looked like a snapdragon and PictureThis IDs as common toadflax. New to me! Definitely not common round here.
