I have covid because as careful as I am, husband still works at a tourist attraction that doesn't take precautions. All I want is sleep. Haven't been able to sleep properly for days because I'm too congested. Still trying to wfh through it, because already missed so much this year 'tween grief+sick
Sault Ste Marie? It's, like, Almost Canada (TM). Had some family that lived up there. Was a nice place to visit as a tween. I would recommend Ann Arbor, but it got très cher.

I was at a preview screening for Toy Story 4. There was a large group of tween kids that looked like pageant contestants with their moms. None of them were watching the movie. They were just talking and running around. There was a lot of performative parenting from nightmare rich moms.

This is just down the road (next village) from where I lived as a tween-teenager. North Canterbury mostly got off pretty lightly at that point. The church in Lyttelton where my father was vicar well before I was born did not fare so well (I think it was wooden).
The smart thing about this is the ‘every.’ Because there’s always miscommunications. But this is making me laugh because this describes my tween (only sometimes). When you have kids, you realize that awful people often display traits from earlier developmental stages. (IT’S NORMAL FOR KIDS.)
