The D&D Arcade games were so great. Fun beat-em-ups that were part of the origin story for a favorite developer of mine, Vanillaware. I was so surprised to find out Vanillaware was part of one of my favorite arcade games.
Vanillaware games never come to PC so it isn't surprising, but feels like now would be the time for them to start if it's such a big hit?
Vous n’aviez pas encore faim ? Bah voilà, c’est fait ! Vanillaware régale toujours ! #UnicornOverlord
been on a vanillaware kick, playing odin sphere on my vita the last week. what a lovely gem of a game...
It's why I'm glad Devil Blade Reboot is an independent project despite being headed by a Vanillaware staffer, it actually made it onto PC and is widely accessible in every way that counts.
Vanillaware not porting any of their catalog to PC is the single most infuriating thing about the company and that needs to change.
Vanillaware plz port Dragons Crown to the current gen consoles I'd gladly buy it again. Also Muramasa Rebirth if you want too I'll also get that.
What's you're most under-championed game of 2024? Like the thing you were blown away by but haven't even seen one other person talk about? Vanillaware artist Shigatake released a remake of his 1996 indie shmup called Devil Blade Reboot and it's like shoving cotton candy into an electrical socket
