Well a central point that Coates makes is precisely that we need to have Palestinian voices heard in the media, since the dominant Israeli viewpoint has been what is almost exclusively represented in the US for decades. His raising of these issues is definitely adding something to the conversation.

as fucking blatant as this is I want to zoom back one level and point out that we're long past playing along with the notion that these are just random people. even if they're not just republican plants they're chosen with the knowledge of what they're going to say it's pushing a viewpoint
One of the awesome things is the ability to change type of lens. Also, make sure to try the "walking camera" mode, as it changes the viewpoint completely. Especially if you "walk" the camera to a space between buildings, or on a forest path (or similar). bsky.app/profile/auti...
Whatever your view of ethical rights & wrongs (I'll hold my tongue on this here), it is reassuring at least from a viewpoint of a much-heralded global WW3 that a major set of attacks was absorbed. The problem may be, of course, that one side or other may still escalate this - for political reasons.
