Tonight we visit the Grantham Canal for part 2 and the walk into Nottingham. There’s a lot of plans here for a new waterway and restoring the abandoned canal. Enjoy Rerouting A Canal Around Nottingham youtu.be/SMc1IlD7S0c

Did you see the tweets a couple of years back when the official national park or waterway account went after some dipshit GOP official by quoting the song at him?

Moving day ( last weekend) #ukcanals

A pair of narrowboats, breasted up, squeezing under a brick arched road bridge, in the distance is the waterway with moored boats on both sides. The towpath is on the right. Above the arch of the bridge the base of a steel footbridge is visible.

Sebek is often trying to impress Malleus, panicking when Trein asks him a question he cannot answer when he is in his liege’s presence. Jamil helps Sebek arrive at the answer to the question by asking what he would do if Malleus tried to walk through the waterway alone-- 5/10

Morning ride

Mixed use bike path with vegetation on both sides, and sunlight bathes the asphalt as it banks right
Sunrise over the mixed use path, with golden sunlight reflecting off of the water. Hazy marine layer hangs in the sky. Water plants line the arroyo, and trees line the paths on either side of the waterway.

Today's historic pic: Diesel 37421 and the 10:15am British Rail Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh train near Achanalt, Scotland, UK, April 28 1988. DMUs replaced loco hauled trains on the Kyle line shortly after this photo was taken, and still serve it today. 37421 still runs today with Colas Rail.

A view taken looking forward through an open window on the left hand side of a passenger train. We are in the front carriage immediately behind the diesel locomotive, the rear cab of which is partly visible at right just a couple of metres in front of us. The train is crossing a curved bridge over a waterway which is filled with dark water. The countryside either side of the waterway is a barren highland landscape. In the distance on the horizon is a snow capped peak beneath a blue sky flecked with scattered white clouds.
