We had been pretty low car (17k miles in 3 years) until this, with our main car usage being for Getting Outdoors and weekly groceries. (If it were up to me, I'd pay Freddys prices and biked rather than Winco prices and drove.) This summer, all the dr visits to the burbs have meant driving.

Luckily for me, they were drawn to my work as well, and Broadway Impact always shared my work. It was the early days. I was at Metro Weekly, and they were largely responsible for introducing my work to the Broadway-loving audience. I so appreciated it.

Yeah, it feels like Katrina, but with less footage and I feel like that means all the information is just delayed Also I follow a weekly podcast where one of the hosts lives in Ashville which didn’t post today. And even though that’s “no shit”, it makes it feel close to home

Next up today is our weekly update on voter registrations in Michigan, which have been steady since the ups & downs around the state primary in August.

A plot showing the weekly net changes to Michigan's voter registration totals, starting in late July and continuing through late September. While registrations were closed for the August 6 state primary there was a small decrease in the number of registered voters, followed by an increase of about 25,000 new voters, and settling down to a net increase of about 5,000 voters every week since August 16.

Like Manne said, every project has • Weekly check in on Zoom (AI transcription) • Slack page with dedicated channels • One person primarily responsible for controlling the document, final say over edits etc • Never got more complicated project management tools (ie Asana) to stick
