Seriously, “WAR WLF” is a great band name.
The main themes of the game are told well on a skin deep level, but any further analysis leads you to scratch your head. The WLF vs Seraphites story is just abysmal. Counterproductive to what it was trying to say, really.

And if you haven't played TLoU or don't remember a ton of it, it definitely is saying "The WLF killing the Scars is bad and shouldn't be done." It's just doing so in a way that is moreso about how that would affect the "civilized" WLF rather than because the "savage" Scars don't deserve it.
It also doesn't help defend against this criticism that the game and show are clearly capable of showing two sides of a conflict on equal terms like Ellie's group vs the WLF in a way not given to the Scars.
I wonder if the show will be any different especially post Oct 7th when it gets to that part since the core idea of the Scars is to be an analogue to Palestinians as bigoted, violent religious fanatics fighting the "civilized" WLF Israel analogue.
