Today, our 14 1/2 year-old dog, who is blind in one eye and still in the cone from surgery, saw a big fluffy squirrel out back and ran out to chase it off, then he was so excited he ran back inside to play with his toy squirrel and neither my wife nor I can talk about it without tearing up.
