Freeports - the myths 1) Sunak came up with the idea 2) they don’t have them in the EU 3) they’re a Brexit benefit 4) “they will encourage free trade and reinforce our position as an outward-looking trading nation open to the world” Freeports - the reality 6 businesses sign up
A recipe for corruption, tax dodging and crime
I think the problem for Tories is that they think the general public is as dim as their sycophants are…. Tiresome.
There are Freeports in the EU, but these UK versions are not going to be regulated in the same way. In fact they will mean the UK won't ever meet the EU criteria for membership, which I believe was intentional in Tory world.
Freeport's are a con and fraud which will only benefit the few, parasites who want to feed off others even further, deregulate, even less tax revenue and do away with workers rights. Ultra free market BS!
I live in one I’ve been banging on about them for years. Very few local people are aware.
Freeports - feifdoms
We had them until 2012? So... The last one closed under the Tories? This I did not know 😆
