This headline stack is one for the time capsule. First, analyzing Harris's message discipline, which is common to normie politicians, as if it's uniquely revealing and shifty. Second, framing Trump's openly racist, completely dishonest stump rhetoric as if it's quirky and full of subtle meaning.

Top headline: "In Interviews, Kamala Harris Continues to Bob and Weave. Her media swing showed how she often responds to uncomfortable questions by acknowledging them, yet not fully answering them."

Second headline: "In remarks about migrants, Donald Trump invoked his long-held fascination with genes and genetics."

the *childish* thing to do is assume the oil industry will invent a magic button. the *pragmatic* thing to do is to assume that the companies and political actors who have fought tooth and nail against solutions are not going to suddenly be helpful in solving the problem.

some things i've written recently: this, just now, on donating to the haitian support center in springfield, ohio. it is so important to stand against hate weaponized by no less than a person still very close to being president again: encouragement.ghost.io/donated-to-t...

I just donated to the Haitian Community Help and Support Center

Society does not actually depend on the loud guy at the council meeting saying he pays taxes, no one else does, therefore no one else should get anything but him.

Some evil Republicans (but I repeat myself) are still capable of recognizing that electing Trump Round Two is equivalent to handing the national car keys to a drunk driver on the brink of the Grand Canyon

The blatant gutter racism continues on Trump's Truth Social feed with virtually zero attention from Beltway media.

We don’t need any new laws or ID requirements for voting. There is no voting fraud problem in the US. The issue is simply a voter suppression scam cooked up by the GOP, relentlessly repeated with fake studies and op-eds, no matter how often it’s debunked. There is no reason for new restrictions.

"Violent crime was up under Donald Trump. That's not even counting the crimes he committed" is a great line.
