I have been job searching for almost a month now with Jack and Shit to show for it. And this has been for like.... Fast food and retail positions. If I can't even get that what the fuck am I gonna do, I wish I could make money doing something I liked but college is expensive so fuck me.
on one hand, I'm grateful that my stuff has had a pretty big reach apparently on the other hand Bluesky sure does have a lot of people who like to leave "um, er hi, yeah, I don't like this :/" comments and yes, even when I tag things nsfw. welp, growing pains and whatnot
Last night I was playing different Mahjong games in VC with a friend and holy shit idk if it's because I was distracted but I was getting INCESSANTLY bad luck, usually losing in the first half of the round and this went on for many hours in a row. Hard to show off these games when you keep losing.
I think one of the harder things about working on RNG heavy arcade/run based games is letting go of the desire for every run to be consistently-ish difficult. Because these games are experienced over a ton of runs, the inconsistencies will average out
I hate how most modern mahjong games I've played are super sterile, use boring "asian" music, no cute/sexy VA'd girls, no fun UI, no dumb campaign/arcade story modes that are VN or FG styled with fun win/loss cutscenes, and gameplay-speed is at a crawl, and also always 3-4P never 2P. it sucks.
Man, Sega consoles had the best fucking mahjong games
