Despite my best efforts, Caliphone successfully managed to win the prizes I aimed for at the Karn-ival... which worked out, because she was willing to share them with the party!

Thank goodness today was a day of celebration, because I definitely made a fool of myself today...

The party is starting, festival food is out, and everyone is jostling! I managed to scare folks off from having talked with my mouth full of croissant...

We decided to stay in town, long enough to stay for the Prince's birthday. Each of us spend a few days doing our respective business, shopping, training, and preparing to leave as soon as the celebrations end.

The next day, we got ourselves back on track for shopping and gearing up for our adventure... I wanted to get myself a big ole bow, and managed to nab something juicy.

We worked hard to get the city back to normal, helping with cleanup aftet the dragon attack. After a long day of work, we rested up and (officially, technically) leveled up.

The enormous beast literally shadows the capital city, maming quick work of, oh god, one... two... FIVE guard airships! The raw power of this beast is terrifying! And somehow familiar. It landed on the island, and just as quickly as it appeared... the dragon vanished with the castle.

Just when we attempted to return to the city, a rumble travels across the town... and a fire-scorched mountain lights up with the arrival of an ANCIENT FIRE DRAGON??
