Dr. Williams, I am a bit confused by your post. This study does not seem to be about repeated COVID infections and cumulative damage, rather it seems to be providing evidence for a mechanism driving inflammation and the possible implications for LC treatments. Am I misreading something?

I believe (ready to be corrected), that there are only 2 other distance runners who have collected 3 medals at the Olympics: Nurmi in the 1920s and Zatopek in the 1950s. Both incredible achievements but with the caveat that they came before athletes from East Africa began competing
