Remembering one dark night on a country road where I had to go from 55-0 in a couple seconds because a dumbass possum would NOT keep it movin

You've got me thinking about teen driving now and I had forgotten that my aunt made fun of me because the first time I hit an animal (chipmunk) I cried. If I'm alone on a dark road I still try to dodge frogs when it rains. Cars suck

Being perfectly honest, I do swerve for possums unless it's just not safe at all to do. But I knew a woman who totaled a car dodging a squirrel and had minor injuries and she's not the only one and the squirrel was one of the ones that was determined to kiss a tire anyway
