I’m representing the 2600 community on bluesky, since there wasn’t one and they told me directly they never planned on there being one.

I reached out to them prior to starting the page and literally asked them if they wanted an invite code, they declined and told me “if you want us on platforms we aren’t on, feel free to create a presence”. Nothing I have posted has been out of the spirit of their other social media pages.

LLMs and ML are going to have privacy issues unless they can figure out how to avoid being used by spammers and data miners.

To be as transparent as possible with you all, @2600.com is claiming that this account is “misleading” or “impersonating” them. I am not part of the capitalist buz that 2600.com is, however neither are the existing 2600 social media pages. Until they reach out I’ll continue bringing you content.

I guess despite being told 2600 wouldn’t be joining bluesky, someone with access to the domain decided to register an account. @2600.com last I checked there were at least two Facebook pages run by two different groups of people. Hmu if you have questions.

We have few options for watching content online, rumble is a questionable platform, and YouTube is horrific beyond comprehension. TikTok is owned and controlled by the CCP. What do we think about front ends that access content while cutting out the tracking and algorithms giving you control back?
