It’s quite amazing that two of the very few wars in history where 1. there was a clear right and wrong, and 2. The good guys won, were WWII and the American Civil War. And yet now huge chunks of the US populace now side with the losers.
Never in my life did I think we would get to a place where mainstream partisans and candidates for one party would take the position that the Allies were bad guys in WWII.
I think it's good that the Allies defeated the Nazis, rather than the other way around. The Nazis winning would've been worse. Sorry to get so partisan and speak out against one of Republicans' chosen standard bearers in Minnesota like this, but that's how I feel.
