He just declared it over once we had a vaccine. He should have pushed for air quality improvements, that would have dramatically improved things with all airborne diseases, wildfire smoke, etc. Sure, Trump would have been even worse, but I expected better from Biden on this.
I'm not arguing that Biden couldn't or shouldn't have handled it better, defending Biden in general gives me the ick. But we are on Year 8 of this "both sides are the same" bullshit RE: Trump when it's obvious to anyone with eyes, ears, and a functioning brain that they are not.
