If you’ve read the New Yorker article about how the world is running out of sand, it talks about how the coast guard (?) dredges along the Atlantic coastline basically permanently to move the sand that shifts south back north
There are few acts more futile than trying to replace lost sand on a beach. It *never* works longterm. 😕
