There are probably a few shenanigans going on; the NGDV has a GVWR of 8501 lbs, which tips it into a different emissions category. It's still a massive improvement over the LLVs they're replacing; those are 2.2/2.5L Chevy S-10s under the skin which get ~9 mpg because they idle so much.

posted some screenshots the thread show that the 70 miles is a floor after 10 years of service (also imagine this takes AC and heating into account?) also saw a 2 mi/kWh which seems reasonable for that weight
