For the record, this is not a dis on the role of regenerative ag for addressing land degradation or part of nature based climate change solutions. Quite the contrary. I’m dismayed with the relentless insistence on regenerative ag being nonsense & mostly only useful for greenwashing.

“Regenerative” in the context of land management is as meaningful as “healthy” in a medical context. Yes, they are both general concepts. You don’t measure how #regenerative an ag practice is, in the same way you don’t measure how healthy a person is. You measure specific, measurable variables.
