idk. I just feel like there's not much audience for art like mine. I could be wrong. But it's so hard to find stuff like it. Especially blorbo art, which is so strange to me!
Okay, like, here's my art. This is SUPPOSED to evoke Goya's Saturn. It's SUPPOSED to be uncomfortably desperate. It's not arousing to look at. Even if you don't know who these blorboes are, I think/hope the emotion still carries as the primary goal of this piece. even though it's sex.
sex irl isn't normally posed for a camera to show maximum meat. When art's composed with the priority of depicting maximum meat, it starts feeling generically porny. And my blorbo is no pornstar! I guess my goal is naturalism. But also not--I like turbo drama.
I don't feel like I'm contributing anything important when I draw PORN porn; there's so much porn in the universe already, better than what I could make. But I want to depict The Agonies. Specifically, erotic ones. But not in a porn way. Does this even make sense?
there doesn't seem to be any audience for blorbo art which is sexual without having goals which are primarily pornographic. If I'm gonna draw sex I want it to be emotional to the point that you couldn't cum while looking at it. Do you get what I'm saying?
even art by people who LOVE the blorboes depicted 95% of the time are more focused on objectifying them. Which I will stress, is fine if that's your thing. And fun to look at for its own merit. but it's a different kind of art with different goals than the type I want to draw
okay. is it just me or is there so little art of blorboes fucking which actually puts the focus on the emotion rather than the fuck itself. Like, horniness is a big motivator for a lot of artists, that's fine. But how about art which depicts sex without the primary goal of Cum Explosion
guess it's not like I have a huge number of followers to upset with it anyway lol. I suppose my concern is that I *do* want to keep my account minor-friendly, though I assume they can't see stuff that's 18+ anyway....
I used to use SageThumbs for that, but it borks windows 10. Apparently there are some alternatives, but I was too lazy to ever check them out myself. It might be worth looking into these, though alternativeto.net/software/sag... sorry I don't have the spoons today to check them out myself.
