You cannot isolate a “solution” from context. The contamination from destroyed buildings, emissions from bombings and other forms of warfare, diverted water resources, etc are just as much part of the climate story.
Those words have resonated as I've moved into reporting on climate, which calls for similarly challenging but purpose-filled work.
Like, how much longer will presidential candidates have to indulge tiny constituencies in swing states by promising not to stop fracking?

What I wouldn’t give to live in a political system where you have more candidate/ballot choices than the ones pre-selected by the rich and influential.
