Today I learned about pigeon milk thanks to @ologies.bsky.social. I will literally never forget this fact

I have posted about pigeon milk here & over there X ... Got milk? Male & female pigeons, doves & Greater Flamingos (representatives pictured) & male Emperor Penguins produce protein/fat/antibody rich "crop milk" either from their crop or esophagus.

But why did this fact horrify me so much when I listened to that episode 🥲😬
