i'm glad you have your sister though, that's nice. I get what you mean. My gf is the only person i've ever met who really, truly understands how i think and the only person who I can truly understand like that. And if i didn't have her idk, i would go crazy probably

It's easy to get in your own head about stuff like that, but ask yourself: If THEY were to tell YOU something similar, how would you react? That's how you should expect them to react. Even if you know they won't, that's a THEM issue, not a YOU issue. You keep being true to yourself.

My gf is the same way! And i'm kinda the same way but I'm also honest to a fault. I hate playing games, i hate hypocrites and lies so i tend to be blunt with people but i'm also good at making it into a joke and being empathetic about it Don't be afraid. They won't hate you.

I guess the way I would describe it is, I do like having friends and being around them, but they have to think the way I do. They have to understand me. They have to like structure and doing the things that I like doing bc i'm going to be way too anxious about doing anything else lol

Oh exactly, i feel the same about that I mean... I'm conflicted on it. On one hand I do want friends, i want to spend time with people like me. But at the same time I don't really like spending time with people. It's usually unsatisfying and overwhelming. But also I love making ppl laugh... idk

I don't think you're weird at all. :) but yeah i get what you mean. even as i got older and a lot more confident with normal conversations I still just never really wanted to be around most people. I only like being around people like me, usually

Hey, same here! And aw i'm glad you're enjoying this but I hope you get to make some friends soon. It's really nice having someone you can share things with and just enjoy each other's company. ...Well, I assume. Autism made making friends... difficult. We just never quite clicked.
