Yet according to the Street Design Guide for Mixed Use Community Connectors they're still giving 10ft more room to traffic than they're supposed to, even on a truck route (Lyndale is NOT a 10 ton truck route)
One hard part of being on the Mpls bicycle advisory committee is double checking proposals against official standards as a layperson Ex: On the surface, some proposed changes to several intersections on Lyndale look much nicer than what is currently there /
Meh. That hasn’t been my experience. They’re just driving as fast as the roads are designed for (they’re designed like highways)
