What really bothered me was the “how dare you waste MY time” attitude on display by a group of security leaders. Yes, you are busy. Yes, vendors are constantly hounding you. Yes, you are special and pretty, we get it. That doesn’t mean you can’t be helpful. Let’s do better.

Side note: it’s easy to be mean and snarky, it is even kinda funny, but it’s better to be kind. Don’t miss opportunities to give feedback instead of derision. I sat in a startup pitch session recently and the tone turned “Mean Girls” real quick in the private chat. 🧵
