Today is the European Day of Languages, an EU initiative to raise awareness of linguistic diversity. In OA publishing, there is not a lot of linguistic Diversity. This Curtin study found over 80% of all OA articles are published in English. How can we work to change that? https://buff.ly/3ZE7mii

Happy #EuropeanDayOfLanguages! I speak English, a little French, and a smattering of Maltese. But not all European languages are ‘spoken’: I also sign British Sign Language. None of Europe's sign languages are 'official languages' of the EU as yet.
