A very very common phrase for when you want to say literally or to the letter is ao pé da letra, which means "at the feet of letter"
also the asshole-related ones. “what does the asshole have to do with the pants”, “birds who eat rocks know the assholes they have”, “you want the asshole and you want it shaved?” (asking for too much), “I have my asshole in my hand” or “asshole so tight even wifi won’t pass” (both mean very afraid)
one of my favourites is when you want to say something is pointless or hopeless you can say it’s “um mato sem cachorro” which translates to going to/being at “the woods without a dog”
You could also use "onde o vento faz a curva", "onde Judas perdeu as botas" or "no cu do Judas" 🤣
When someone is in a hurry (e.g. driving recklessly fast), we say he/she “vai tirar a mãe da zona”, which roughly translates to “going to take their mother off the brothel”
