My fiction team collectively and unanimously resigned from Guernica today. I'm proud of them, and the work we did over the last two years - six editors and nine readers, volunteering and collaborating with great writers to publish weird, beautiful stories. I'll miss it.

Some of my favorite novels lately. I loved doing the launch event HANGMAN - it's terrific and Maya was a wonderful interlocutor. And TREMORS, BLACKOUTS, and I AM HOMELESS IF THIS IS NOT MY HOME all felt very fresh and exciting - I'm judging fiction this year for NBCC and have much to consider!
