because there are a million pockets of indie rpg creators in various discords & forums & the like, we need something like an indie rpg congress where delegates from each pocket come together and share the cool games their peers have made
the nice thing about making a game that emulates a genre of book that peaked almost a hundred years ago is that there's a lot of shit I can ise that has entered the public domain. it's truly indefensible that copyright lasts nearly a century
