Now I can start watching lets plays on Dragon Quest 11. At least upto the credits since I've done all that now. Time to see if there are any I can bear to watch.

I just completed preparations for a future LP. Will be a bit of time before I actually start recording it though. I won't say which game it is, but it's the second game in a franchise. I've already finished recording the first game. That one will come out in January.

Based on what I've played so far, yeah that's pretty much what it is.

I usually take a break from playing anything after I reach the credits of a game. I just kept going though in this case. I play for the story and more story is great for me. I'm a couple of hours into the post game at this point.

Finished Dragon Quest XI. By far the best game in this series in my opinion. Though I've only ever played 7, 8 and 9 before this one. Thing is, I like this game so much I actually want to keep playing it. DQ games have post game content anyway, so I'll do that as part of the LP.

I keep seeing talk about Silent Hill 2, which is fine. The issue is the game has sound. If the hill is supposed to be silent, the entire game should have no music or sound effects at all. Don't call it Silent Hill, if the hill makes sounds.

Something I don't think I ever mentioned here about Dragon Quest 11. I love how they integrate the gameplay and story. A lot of things that happen in gameplay, are actually explained in the story. While things that happen in the story, actually affect gameplay. More games should do this.

I've been playing yes, but I've just been getting exp. I found the monsters where I'm at were a bit too much. Gained a few levels since I last recorded. No need to get to the next boss and lose due to being underleveled. I'll record more tomorrow, like usual.

You realize I haven't made any progress since I said that.

I'm actually not a fan of this situation. I prefer to have my games already finished recording before part 1 even comes out, that way no one can spoil anything. Since the videos start next week, I won't have the game finished by then. It's actually my fault though. I recorded a few other LPs. 🤣
