It's 30% snake, 50% squirrel, and 20%peacock. And for extra credit, about 25% cooler. : )

It's interesting to me, seeing all the practice you are getting with human anatomy. That'll probably help me out a lot with getting faces correct, something I still struggle with. I did get some practice with eyes recently, which I think I'll share here some time soon.

Being experimental with some ways to simulate Colors3D on other systems. Here's a couple samples of my art that were intended to be viewed in 3D, rotated to a couple different angles for comparison. The layers are graphically separated, and the art can be rotated to see them in simulated 3D space.

I started playing Baldur's Gate III with my brother and a friend recently. Spent an hour or two in the character creator trying to make a good Dragon-born character, and here are some screenshot samples of some of my favorites. In the end, I went with the dark black one. He's a fighter type.

Yeah, I just quietly took a little break from this place. I'm not much of a social media guy, so I needed to recharge my batteries so to speak. I'll try get back to regular posting again here for a little while.

I tthink it was around 6 years ago that I decided to give clay sculpting a more professional try out of a whim. I started watching YouTube channels to learn techniques. The channel -North of the Border- is one of my favorites to watch. He's very entertaining while explaining his process.

That's an excellent way to get good practice. : )

I've taken a bit of a break from sculpting with clay lately. I'd love to see what you can come up with though, so if you get around to it, please share. Maybe I'll motivate myself to finish something I started (and cured) by adding the finishing details soon, then paint it.

This looks great. :D. I think I'm going to wait until the next big info dump, and hopefully have more monsters to choose from, and HD renders to use as references before I make some fanart for MH Wilds. In the meantime though, I am working on something small to commemorate the first teaser.
