Expanding the house is less useless than you make it appear. Though small districts are more easily gerrymandered in some ways, smaller gerrymanders are less durable. Also, districting reform is making headways in many states. Smaller electorate campaigns would be cheaper, committee loads lighter.

to be clear expanding the House isn't a panacea but it really irks me to see it passed off as a nothingburger. It would have valuable and real impacts on how the representatives act and think, how campaigns work, the endurance of gerrymanders, party primary importance, and more.

If we’re doing big reforms, structural redesigns are find and good, but at the root we should find away to eliminate political redistricting altogether
