Yeah, slenderising vowels is how my teacher described it. Like "ollamh" -> "ollaimh". Still learning when and where to do it.
Sorry, I didn't realize you also worked on faclair.com. Thank you for putting some resources out there. Yeah, I have a ways to go with Gaidhlig. Still trying to wrap my head around lenition and slenderizing of vowels.
I see, it moved the apostrophe. That's weird. Also, I noticed I'm using the lenited version of Gaidhlig. I see your Akerbeltz site, I'll check it out.
Thanks, yeah I was planning to run these by my teacher. Are there better translators for Ghaidhlig? He told us about this online dictionary, but it's kind of limited. www.faclair.com
Thanks!
Hi, everyone! I'm a letterer/colorist and I'm also working on my own self-published comic. It's medieval fantasy set in a fictional Moorish Portugal. I have Tales of Andaluzia, short stories set in a medieval period, and New Andaluzia, set in a slightly advanced magictech timeline. linktr.ee/aeryk08
I don't have the original comics any more, but this run was one of my favorites. Had to pick up the artist edition.
